English 4

I'm a strong reader and a creative writer. My goals are set high because I want the best in life. I'm atheletic, smart and a breaded leader. My favorite book I read out my 4 years in Metro is "Things Not Seen" the next after that is "The Piano Lesson", and last is "Fallen Angels" which I'm reading now and its turning out to be a really good book.

  2. Joe,

I am glad to hear you are enjoying Waler Dean Myers's Fallen Angels. I am unfamiliar with Things Not Seen; I will have to check it out.

Today in class we discussed and blogged about theme as it related to Wilson's other Pulitzer prize-winning drama Fences. We also discussed how Wilson's exploration of conflicts between fathers and sons applies to themes that are emerging in our reading of Achebe's Things Fall Apart (in which we have read up to page 22).

I look forward to reading your future posts.
